Family Trusted Digital ID
Once all the information has been entered, take time to navigate the CD to become familiar with the features available.
In Case of Emergency
1. The first step is to report the missing child to your local police. Ask for the case number and the exact name, address and phone number of the local police station and the name of the police officer handling the case.
2. Inform the local police that a digital photo of the missing child is avilable. Bring the Family Trusted Digital ID CD with you when you go to the police office.
3. Contact The National Center of Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) and request authorization to e-mail them the missing child's digital photo. They will give you the appropriate e-mail address at that time.
4. Open the Family Trusted Digital ID CD on a computer. Click "Emergency" and follow the instructions.
